Keep the Following in Mind!

1) The majority of homes are sold using the MLS(R) system, which you can only access using a licensed REALTOR(R). (if someone tells you different, I suggest you read the fine print)

2) A high percentage of private sale homes eventually get listed by an agent in order to sell because they simply don’t receive enough exposure without the MLS(R) system.

3) An agent will bring a buyer to your home as long as you state in your listing that you will pay him or her apx. 2.5% commission. (ask me about that)

4) Most homes sold by agents sell for higher than privately sold homes allowing for the commission rates charged) even though most private sales start higher (ask me about that too)
